What is little eight?
little eight is a children's swimleisure line designed for life in motion—from the sand to the sidewalk and everywhere in between. We create elevated, easy pieces that are as functional as they are beautiful.
What makes little eight different?
These aren't pieces you rip off the second they're out of the water. They layer, polish, and transition from sand to supper—without a costume change. little eight was created for cannonballs, cartwheels, and “five more minutes.” No changing. No adjusting. Just full speed fun in the sun.
What does "swimleisure" mean?
It's our way of blending swimwear with everyday wear. Think pieces made with plush organic toweling fabric that can get wet, dry quickly, and still feel perfectly at home at lunch, during a poolside nap, or at sunset.
Who is little eight designed for?
For little ones who are always on the go—and for parents who want clothing that can keep up but still looks great. Our sizing ranges from 0–3m to 10Y, with hopes to expand in the near future.
Where are your products made?
While all of our pieces are designed in Texas, we partner with trusted manufacturers in Peru who share our commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

How do I choose the right size?
We recommend using our size guide as a reference, based on your child's height and weight. If you're between sizes, we suggest sizing up for longer wear.
Does little eight run true to size?
Yes—our pieces are designed to fit true to size with a comfortable, flexible fit.

What materials do you use?
We use high-quality, performance fabrics selected for their softness, durability, and ability to move with your child.
Do your swimsuits offer sun protection?
Yes—many of our pieces are made with UPF-protective fabrics to help shield delicate skin.
Are your fabrics safe for sensitive skin?
We choose organic materials with comfort in mind—soft, breathable, and gentle on young skin.
How should I care for my items?
To keep your pieces looking their best: rinse after use, hand wash in cold water, and lay flat to dry. We know kids can be messy… if needed, machine wash in cold water and lay flat to dry.
Will the colors fade?
Our fabrics are designed to hold their color beautifully, even with sun, saltwater, and chlorine—though gentle care will always extend their life.

Where do you ship?
We currently ship within the United States, with plans to expand soon.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days and shipped shortly after. Items ship via UPS unless otherwise specified at checkout. Should you have any special circumstances that require expedited shipping or special instructions, please don't hesitate to reach out at hello@shoplittleeight.com and we'll be happy to help.
Can I change or cancel my order?
If your order hasn't shipped yet, we'll do our best—please reach out as soon as possible.
Do you offer gift options?

returns & exchanges
What is your return policy?
Unwashed, unworn, and unused merchandise may be returned within 14 days of purchase. Shipping charges will not be refunded. If 14 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer a refund or exchange. Please see our Returns & Exchanges page for more details.
Can I exchange for a different size?
